This spring, the Fox Lake Preservation Organization proudly supported the stocking of 4,600 crappie in Fox Lake, enhancing our fishery and helping to sustain a healthy aquatic ecosystem.
The fish were delivered by Gollon Bait & Fish Farm and released into the lake with the help of volunteers on a chilly spring day. These vibrant young crappie will grow into the quality panfish Fox Lake is known for, benefiting anglers and the lake community alike.
This effort was made possible thanks to Fish Tales Bait and Tackle and the tremendous success of the annual Ice Fishing Jamboree. Proceeds from that event funded this year’s special spring stocking, showing how community events directly contribute to the preservation and improvement of our cherished lake.
We thank everyone who fished, volunteered, or donated to the Jamboree—you played a direct role in keeping Fox Lake a fantastic place to fish, relax, and connect with nature.
